The famous American historian, Professor Heather Cox Richardson, whose daily newsletter, “Letters from an American,” has 2.1 million subscribers, among whom are probably your parents or their friends, is in town next week, giving a sold-out lecture at Zellerbach Hall. She has said that she’d like to meet students to talk about the state of the world and US politics, about which she has a lot to say.
I snapped up the opportunity to have her speak with us, Tuesday, February 25 at 5 pm, in the Seminar Room at 2240 Piedmont. We will have some nice refreshments. The plan is to have an informal conversation with her about law, politics and history, as the US undergoes some of the most wrenching transformations in decades.
